Yucky Day – Follow Up

I decided to change into a fresh pink NorthShore MegaMax Lite. Here’s the aftermath of the heavily soiled, diarrhea loaded pink Sunkiss with the LivDry booster:

Nothing major leaked out. Sitting straight onto my rump left some imprints from the leg cuffs onto the incontinence pad. The discoloration of the diaper is just staining. I changed on the incontinence pad, and I threw out the incontinence pad with the soiled Sunkiss.

I developed a bit of a yoga style diaper changing routine. I can do this over a disposable incontinence pad, for maximum containment.

My main method is to get onto my knees and spread my legs widely. Then I untape my diaper and lower it onto the incontinence pad. I leave my legs spread widely as I hover over the soiled diaper on my knees. I exaggerate my already prominent back arch for lumbar lordosis. It feels like I’m presenting my somewhat ample posterior. I use the position to make clean up easier. With my rump on full display, it’s easier to wipe. I’ll use medical examination gloves while wiping. After I’m done with wiping, I’ll switch to another set of medical examination gloves for applying a barrier cream or lotion.

Here’s my current state:

A nice fresh pink MegaMax Lite. The massive poopy mess of the Sunkiss spread everywhere, and I’m not able to casually take a shower, so I applied some vaseline instead of petroleum jelly. Petroleum jelly protects from exposure to bodily waste, but it also seals in moisture. I didn’t think that I’d be able to clean everything thoroughly with just wipes, so I didn’t want to seal anything within petroleum jelly.

I picked the MegaMax Lite because I don’t plan on wearing it for too long. I’m relying on my urination to help clean the remnants of my massive poopy mess. In my experience, urination within a fresh diaper helps to clean the remnants of a poopy diaper that couldn’t be removed via wiping. If I can’t take a shower, this is a perfectly viable way to handle clean up.

My skin is in a more vulnerable state, so I need to make sure that I don’t leave myself exposed to my bodily waste for terribly long. That includes urine. I need enough urine to help wash my lower region off, but I can’t be exposed to it for very long.

Diapers are all about tactical and strategic management. I used them full-time for about five years, from February 2018 to January 2023. I was working in factories while I was using them. This has given me a baseline of experience for diaper management.

At the time, I didn’t consider myself incontinent, so I didn’t give myself any major luxuries, like tactical toilet use or changing myself in public settings. I just wanted to use diapers full-time. It wasn’t until early to mid 2025 that I realized I was actually incontinent. Considering how often I’d soiled myself over the years, I should have realized this much earlier.

Now I can get to use my diagnosed incontinence as a justification for full-time diaper use, and I get to manage my diapers more proactively.
